The Canadian Mental Health Association is holding a My Dad’s Group Weekly on Mondays in Owen Sound and Tuesdays in Hanover to help foster positive parenting for men with kids in their lives.

John Farmers, Men’s Program Supervisor at the CMHA Grey Bruce speaks to who can benefit.

“And the whole point of that program is to build some solidarity and connection; to let folks know about the ages and stages that kids grow through, how their needs from us change, to put some tools in our toolbox as men, and to build that connect as there aren’t enough places to talk about the challenges we face.”

The free sessions are on Monday in Owen Sound are 6 to 8:30 at 1026 2nd Avenue East. In Hanover they are on Tuesdays from 6 to 8:30 at 425 10th Street.
