There is a new person in charge of Malcolm Place retirement residence in Kincardine.
Cathy Pennington is the new general manager there.
The longtime Kincardine resident has been working in the social service sector for 31 years including working at Community Living and at another retirement residence in Ripley.
Pennington says she is looking forward to her new role.
Pennington says another reason she was attracted to the job at Malcolm Place is the staff there know the residents and the facility.
She says it is a great place with a lot of history and an amazing view of the lake.
