A Clinton Raceway 20-year-old track record was broken at this past weekend’s races.

The Kenneth Mathieson trainee “Life is Better” driven by Ryan Desroche was the gate-to-wire victor in the feature race.

He kept on moving from gate-to-wire with a 2 ¾ length victory in 1:54.

The previous record was held by Judge Cam, set back in August 2003.

Life is Better moves his career earnings to just over $140,000 with 24 career wins.

Clinton Minor Ball held a trackside fundraiser at the Father’s Day races and raised over $1,600 in support of their 2023 season.
