Grey Bruce Health Services is another hospital board that are implementing a COVID-19 vaccination policy.
Starting next Monday, visitors to hospitals in Southampton, Wiarton, Lion’s Head, Owen Sound, Markdale, and Meaford will be required to show proof of vaccination or an approved medical exemption.
They say the policy does not apply to patients at the hospital, or those seeking medical treatment.
GBHS also states that those that don’t have proof of vaccination or medical exemption can still enter their hospitals provided that the patient is a child, in labour, has accessibility needs, or is near end of life.
COVID screening and other protocols will remain in place.
