NII and Ontario Power Generation Supporting Co-op Students

The Nuclear Innovation Institute will soon be able to welcome twice as many trades students to their Advance Technology Campus near Tiverton.

Ontario Power Generation is supporting the work of NII who have pledge $5000 to their co-op as well as their time and expertise in the coming fall and winter terms.

The previous co-op program had 25 students from Kincardine District Senior School and spent two days learning about OPG’s waste management facilities and how OPG manages different waste types.

NII will continue to allow students across Bruce, Grey and Huron County’s to get the skills, knowledge and technologies needed to live and work in a rapidly changing world.
