The Nuclear Innovation Institute is set to turn an existing building at Kincardine’s Bruce Energy Centre into a state-of-the-art training & applied research hub this fall that will expand the region’s ability to deliver high-quality educational programs in the skilled trades.

The facility will teach skills required in electricity generation & construction, as well as emerging technologies like robotics & virtual reality.

The new acquisition allows NII to meet one of its original goals; to meet the rapidly changing skills & knowledge for the workers required to ensure Bruce Power successfully completes the refurbishments that will deliver clean energy to Ontario for decades to come.
