The no swim advisory has been lifted at the Southampton Beach.
Grey Bruce Public Health lifted the advisory on Tuesday after new samples of the water showed a drop in bacteria levels.
The no swim advisory was put in place on August 29th after samples collected between High Street and Beach Road found high levels of bacteria.
Public health continues to warn residents to not swim or play in beach water 48 hours after heavy rainfall, if the water is so cloudy you can’t see your feet at waist deep or if there is a large number of birds or algae in the water.
