Nominations are now open for the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
The honour His Majesty King Charles III’s coronation, the government has minted 30,000 Coronation Medals with 20 being allocated for each Member of Parliament to recognize deserving Canadians and MP for Bruce Grey Owen Sound Alex Ruff is looking for nominations.
MP Alex Ruff says who can be nominated is pretty wide open.
“It’s tied to community service, volunteerism, going that step above and beyond. The eligibility, the only key thing is that they have had made that contribution here or abroad but has brought credit to Canada in someway.” said Ruff.
Submissions can be made until September 2nd with 20 local residents being recognized with a medal.
