The province is opening up nominations for the Rural Ontario Inspiration awards.
These awards recognize the people, businesses and organizations in rural communities which help drive economic growth, create opportunity and boost rural Ontario.
Huron-Bruce MPP and Minister of Rural Affairs, Lisa Thompson says the response last year from the awards showed how important it is to recognize and honour these contributions and is proud to continue these celebrations.
Various categories are available including Rural Community, Rural Entrepreneur, Rural Youth Leader and Rural Champion.
Nominations are due by October 23rd.
