The North Huron Recreation Department has closed the splash pad.
The call for the closure came after extensive vandalism which affected both washroom facilities in the township.
Staff are currently assessing the damage and looking at next steps, Updates are expected to come as they are made available.
In the meantime the department says public swims are still available at the Wescast Community Complex from 1-3pm on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and from 2-4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
