One person has been pronounced dead after a two vehicle collision that closed the intersection of Bruce County Road 6 and 28 overnight.

Emergency services received a call of a crash south of Mildmay around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday night.

Another involved person had to be airlifted to London hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending a next-of-kin notification.

The road was closed for several hours, but reopened this morning around 3 a.m.

South Bruce OPP are investigating the crash along with members of the Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team. Anyone with information should contact them or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
