Huron County OPP are at the scene of a crash between an SUV and horse and buggy near Wingham.
They along with South Bruce OPP, Huron County paramedics, and North Huron Fire Department went to an area on Howick-Turnberry Road near Kieffer Line around 8:15 Tuesday morning.
Investigators say the operator of the horse and buggy was taken to hospital and was pronounced dead.
He has been identified as 27-year-old Jacob Wall of Morris-Turnberry.
Two people inside the SUV were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team are assisting in the investigation.
Police have closed Howick-Turnberry Road between Huron Road 4 and Huron Road 12 as they look into the cause of the crash.
