Ontario Investing to Support Bruce and Grey Emergency Care

The province is investing $16,510,247 across Bruce and Grey County’s to help connect people to emergency care faster and increase the availability of ambulances.

The funding from the Land Ambulance Service Grant has increased by 6 per cent for Bruce County and 4 per cent in Grey County.

Further the province is putting forward $54,600 in Grey County for the Dedicated Offload Nurses Program to help with costs of offloading ambulance patients in hospital emergency departments.

Bruce County Warden Chris Peabody says this funding will ensure the region’s residents and visitors will continue to receive high quality and rapid emergency care.
