Ontario Labour Minister Monte McNaughton leaving Politics for Private Sector

He calls serving as Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development for more than 4 years honour of a lifetime.

Premier Doug Ford is set to shuffle his cabinet again today after the news was released of Labour Minister Monte McNaughton planning to step down from his cabinet duties and resign his seat  to join the private sector.

In the letter released on social media McNaughton says its been an honour of a lifetime to serve the people of Ontario as Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development for more than 4 years.

He also expressed gratitude to the people of his riding in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex who he has represented since 2011.

No announcement as to where McNaughton is going in the private sector.

He closed by thanking his wife Kate, and daughter Annie who has supported him throughout his political career.
