OPP Appealing for Family DNA in 1967 Investigation

Huron County OPP are appealing to the public for family DNA for comparison for an investigation dating back to 1967.

On October 22nd 1967 police received a missing persons report involving two men who left for a fishing trip from the Port of Goderich and were never seen again.

Neil Wormsbecker and Hank Halff aged 29 and 30 at the time they disappeared were residents of Stratford.

Police are asking any remaining biological family members to come forward and provide a DNA sample to compare against all samples of human remains in the DNA database.
