OPP charge 24-year-old Female with Resisting Arrest after Incident on Dec. 29th

The Huron County OPP have charged a 24 year old female of Goderich with assaulting police and resisting arrest after an incident on Thursday, December 29th.

Officers were contacted at around 9pm to assist with a family dispute on Cameron Street in Goderich.

When they arrived they interacted with the female who was verbally abusive and had consumed alcohol.

The female pushed the officers and grabbed at their vest.

They were eventually placed under arrest at which she resisted arrest, trying to pull away from the officer.

They were arrested and taken to the OPP detachment in Clinton for processing.

The accused has been released with a February court date.
