Grey Bruce OPP are up next to have body cameras for officers.
Following the success of in car cameras which incorporated an Automated Licence Plate Recognition system, Grey Bruce OPP along with other detachments in the West Region have been equipped with body cameras for each individual officer.
The cameras are worn in front of the officers vest and are clearly visible to anyone an officer might be interacting with.
The full deployment of these cameras is expected to be complete soon.
