OPP investigating theft of over $100,000 cash from home in Goderich

Sometime between November 11th and 12th unknown suspects forced entry into the home and stole cash in $100 and $50 denominations primarily.

The Huron County OPP are investigating a break and enter in Goderich this weekend that saw over $100,000 in cash stolen.

Sometime between Nov. 11 and 12, unknown suspects forced their way into a Blake Street residence while the homeowner was away.

Once inside they stole a large quantity of Canadian cash totaling more than $100,000. The denominations were mainly $50 and $100 dollar bills.

Police are asking for the public’s help if they observe activity involving large Canadian bills. If you have any information regarding this theft, contact police or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
