OPP Keeping Busy Over Start of Festive RIDE Campaign

OPP across the West Region have been busy over the first 15 days of the Festive Ride Campaign.

Since kicking off on November 16^th, 730 RIDE Checks have been conducted across 13 OPP detachments which has resulted in 122 impaired driving charges and 14 warn range suspensions.

After the 15 days, police have laid 75 impaired charges with another 8 warn range suspensions in 577 RIDE Checks.

The campaign will continue until January 1^st with police continuing to put a major focus over the holiday season to make sure drivers are staying sober while on the roads.
