South Bruce OPP have launched its pedal assisted bike program.
OPP currently operates bikes across the province for patrol across the community who this year launched a pilot with Power Assisted Bicycles utilizing e-bikes for patrol in selected detachment areas which will run until December.
Two pedal assisted bikes arrived in South Bruce which will provide police were increased mobility and allow them to navigate through crowded areas, green spaces, pathways and urban environments more efficiently and allow the to retain physical readiness and response.
