South Bruce OPP are putting a focus on the increase of property crime.
Police say they are focusing their efforts in targeting property crime in Arran-Elderslie after increased reports of fuel theft and suspicious activity in the area.
OPP are reminding residents there are some measures they can take so they don’t become a victim including to properly secure your residence, outbuildings and vehicles, keeping your property well lit, considering installing surveillance cameras and never leave valuables in plain view.
Police say you should always contact them if you see any suspicious activity or vehicles.
