OPP preparing for “Operation Impact” Traffic Campaign over Thanksgiving Weekend

All members of the Grey Bruce OPP will be taking part in the “Operation Impact” Provincial Traffic Safety Campaign which runs horugh the Thanksgiving Long Weekend Friday, October 6th to Monday, October 9th.

The initiative is designed to increase public awareness & compliance with safe driving practices, specifically targeting the big 4 factors related in dealth & injuries on the highways, trails and waterways.

Grey Bruce County saw 14 fatal collision in 2022, more than in any other area of the province.

The OPP say they remain committed to traffic safety and safety for all road users.

They add road safety is a shared responsibility, and ask for everyone to work together to make the roads safe.
