With the arrival of winter and snowfall sticking around OPP are adding more reminders to drivers to plan safe while traveling.
Safe winter driving means motorists should expect the unexpected and be prepared for it.
OPP recommend to consider delaying your trip until the weather improves to allow time for snowplows to clear the road, plan your trip ahead, ensure you have a full tank of gas and dress for the weather even if you’ll be in your car as you’ll be better protected should you become stranded and always have a winter emergency kit in your car.
