Huron County OPP remain on scene in Vanestra after taking a barricaded person into custody earlier this morning.
Police responded to a to well-being call around 7:30 p.m. last night at a townhouse building located on St. Charles Place.
The involved subject initially refused to exit the residence and was eventually apprehended by police.
Officers are still on scene investigating and are asking the public to avoid the area if possible.
