OPP Respond to Two Occurrences at Saugeen First Nation

Grey-Bruce OPP have charged a 29 year old after two occurrences on Saugeen First Nation.

On November 23rd at around 11:04pm, Grey Bruce OPP responded to a report of an unwanted person on Scotch Settlement Drive.

When police arrived the suspect displayed an edged weapon and hammer but no injuries were reported.

The following day at 12:16pm, Opp responded to a theft from a vehicle on Cameron Drive involving the same man.

The 29 year old was arrested and faces multiple charges included two counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, assaulting a peace officer and theft under $5000.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody.
