The 9th annual Handbags for Hospice has been another big event raising tons in support for compassionate end of life care at the Huron Shores Hospice.
With more than $248,000 being brought in, all funds raised will support the Hospice’s mission to provide a home like setting where individuals and families can receive gentle, compassionate end of life care.
Huron Hospice Executive Director Cathy Herbert says this is more than just a fundraiser, its a celebration of kindness and community adding the generosity shown ensures they can continue to provide their care at no cost to those they serve.
