if you’ve got an above ground pool, Health Canada says to give it another look as more than 260,000 above ground pools have been recalled with another 5.1 million recalled in the United States.
This comes as these pools sold since the early 2000’s has resulted in nine kids drowning in the US.
The recalls are for Bestway, Intex Recreation and Polygroup pools sold by major retailers going as far back as 2002.
Health Canada says the pools have compression straps running along the outside of the product which can create a foothold for small children and allow them to access the water unattended.
