The Owen Sound Attack announced this morning that Assitant Coach & Assistant GM Joey Hishon is moving on from the organization to pursue other opportunities.

Hishon was originally hired by the Attack in the summer of 2018 as a Region Scout & Skills Coach but was promoted to his current role in January of 2019.

The executive hire came seven years after Hishon graduated the Attack program as a player, where he was a star offensive force from 2007 to 2011, culminating in an OHL Championship in 2011.

Drafted 4th overall in 2007, the Stratford native’s time as a player in Owen Sound was special, as Hishon is 3rd in career goals at 110, 5th in career assists at 145 and 3rd in career points at 255 all time with Attack players.
