Owen Sound Mayor Ian Boddy issues statement after Vicious Assault in the City

He wants all residents of the City to take the attack very seriously as Owen Sound  Police continue to act to find the individuals responsible.

Owen Sound Mayor Ian Boddy has released a statement after a recent serious assault in his City.

The Mayor said that they believe every member of the community is entitled to live freely, safely and to prosper without fear of violence.

He says he is heartbroken and outraged by the senseless act of violence toward Sharif Rahman and one of his employees this past week.

He adds that he now is fighting for his life in hospital.

Boddy adds he is an outstanding member of the community, serves on City & County Committees and is working as a success business owner in the River District.

He wants all residents of the City to take the attack very seriously as Owen Sound  Police continue to act to find the individuals responsible.

He closes by saying his thoughts and prayers go out to Sharin and his wife and children.
