The Owen Sound Police have charged a man and woman in relation to the death of a 22-month old infant on Sunday morning.
Police, Grey County Paramedics and Owen Sound Fire were called to the scene just after 10 am and began life saving measures on the child in a home.
They were later transported to Grey Bruce Health Services where they were pronounced deceased.
Following a post-mortem in London a search warrant was executed on the home.
It resulted in a 48-year-old male and 39-year-old female of Owen Sound being charged with criminal negligence causing death.
