Owen Sound YMCA Receives Boost for Seniors Programming

The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce has received $25,000 to support seniors programming.

The funding is being provided by the Government of Ontario’s Seniors Community Grant Program to support Thrive Together: Social & Fitness Workshops for Older Adults.

The initiative aims to promote healthy aging by offering engaging, accessible programming which supports physical wellness and meaningful social connections.

April McMillan, Manager of Fund Development for the YMCA says this funding will allow them to enhance programming to help seniors stay active, build connections and continue to thrive.
