Mike & Elanor Mowbray, the owners of the Port Elgin Canadian Tire, say there as no doubt in their minds they wanted to be part of the Illuminating the Dream, Lamont Sports Park fundraising campaign for Phase 2.
The two were announced as the next Diamond Donor with a generous $50,000 donation to the campaign.
The donation will see Mowbray’s Canadian Tire having a banner at one of the baseball diamonds for 20 years. They will also have a sign at the park’s entrance called “Mowbray’s Canadian Tire Home Run Lane”.
The two have owned and operated the local Canadian Tire in South Port Elgin since 2006.
