A painting fundraiser night is set for tomorrow to help raise funds for a Point Clark man who lost his home in a fire.
Doug Williamson lost his home in a fire on September 5th who’s been part of the community for over 10 years, losing everything in the blaze.
A GoFundMe by Shawn Plante writes when family is down and out as a community we need to come together to support them.
The Paint Your Date night will take place from 6-9pm on Friday at the Point Clark Community Centre.
Plante says its always small communities like Point Clark who always step up in support during these times.
“We’re just trying to get him back into the community where the people are so amazing. It’s a small tightknit community.” said Plante.
Art supplies will be provided with a $20 donation at the door being the entry cost.
