There is food drive happening in Kincardine… this one is for pets.
A group called Motion and Momentum through the YMCA Employment Services are collecting pet food donations.
They have approached a few businesses in Kincardine, one of them was Dairy Queen.
Operator Kim Rankin says most people don’t realize that families that use the food bank also find food items for their pets.
Rankin says they will be donating $5 to the pet food drive for every cake they sell until Wednesday.
