Its expected the first phase of rehabilitation work at the Durham Street Bridge in Walkerton will be done in February.
Half joint repair work is being done on the bridge which has been making good progress and is on budget.
During this work, which started in May, the bridge has been reduced to one lane with Bruce County saying once the first phase is done, both lanes will be open with weight restrictions being reassessed once they get there.
