Huron County OPP closed a section of Belgrave Road south west of Fordyce between St. Augustine and Donnybrook Line just before 6pm last night.
Police were called to the scene to investigate a reported SUV and a horse & buggy collision.
The injured horse was euthanized at the scene.
Two buggy passengers were taken to hospital.
Police advise they will release more details as they become available.
