Police seized an estimated $108,000 worth of drugs during a bust in Port Elgin on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers collected 247.5 grams of Fentanyl and 93.4 grams of Methamphetamine while arresting a 22-year-old Brampton man around 12:30 p.m. for possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The arrest was a joint effort between police from Saugeen Shores, West Grey Police and Owen Sound, with Owen Sound’s drug enforcement unit leading the lengthy investigation.
Police also seized nearly $3,000.
The man was held in custody prior to a bail hearing yesterday.
