Saugeen Shores Police are investigating after a stolen sedan nearly ended up in Lake Huron on Friday morning.
On Oct. 7 around 7 a.m., police were dispatched to a report of a single motor vehicle collision in the 100 block of Northshore Road.
Officers arrived on scene and found a black Honda on the northbound shoulder of the roadway with significant damage after colliding with the guardrail. No one was observed at the scene.
After contacting the owner, police discovered the vehicle had been stolen overnight from an area on Grosvenor Street in Southampton.
