Police track Truck & Trailer from Collingwood to Exeter using GPS

Trailer was abandoned on Line 39 in Perth County, while pickup was later recovered abandoned in Exeter. A 22-year-old male of North Huron has been arrested in connection to the incident.

The Huron County OPP are investigating a pickup truck & trailer theft that began in Collingwood and ending in South Huron. On Wednesday police received info that a stolen truck & trailer were being tracked by GPS.

It was followed through Perth then Huron County.

The trailer was abandoned on Line 39 in Perth County, while the pickup was later recovered abandoned in Exeter on Malborough Street.

A 22-year-old male of North Huron has been arrested in connection to the incident.

He is facing a series of charges including two counts of possession of stolen property, two of operation while prohibited, dangerous operation and failure to comply with release & probation charges.

Anyone who may have witnessed the suspect in travel in Perth and Huron Counties on June 14th or related footage is urged to call police anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
