Bruce Telecom says an internet outage which hit the area on Monday was the result of two different cuts on a shred fibre with Eastlink.
Officials say the poor weather impacted the length it took to repair with cuts to the fibre being fixed at around 5:30am on Tuesday.
The outage hit many customers and extended to other service providers.
