The Port Elgin Curling Club is preparing to welcome five teams ranked in the top 35 this season in Canada to its upcoming Super Spiel.
This year represents the 40th time it has been held and from November 17th to 20th eighteen teems will be playing a Triple Knockout format for a $14,000 purse and points to possibly participate in the Port Elgin Chrysler ’23 Ontario Tankard/Scotties presented by Bruce Power.
Set to participate include #10 ranked Sam Mooibroek, former Canadian & World Champion Glen Howard, Pat Ferris, 2-time Superspiel champion Dayna Durelle, Bev Levy, Greg Smith and Hayato Sato from Sapporo, Japan.
