The Lakeside Downtown Kincardine BIA held a meeting with its member businesses this morning at the Tusk in Kincardine.

The final item on the agenda, aside from discussing a summer full of successful events was the Queen Street Reconstruction Project schedule for next year.

The presentation on the project was by Project Manager for the Project, Darren Alexander from BM Ross & Associations. Darren tells us this isn’t the first time he has undertaken this kind of project.

“Wingham, I was involved with their Downtown Project. St. Marys, I was involved with their downtown streetscape. Clinton, most recently, that was last year.”

The estimated start date for the Reconstruction Project is the end of April and into May 2023 with a few steps needing to be completed with Council before shovels hit the ground.
