Province could life Mask Mandate by end of March says Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Moore said that the actual case numbers in Ontario are likely 10 times the reported figure based on the fact of limited testing. 2200 new cases were announced today.

The Province hinted they could lift the mask mandate by the end of the month , so says Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore.

He offered the first Covid-19 update since the Province scrapped it’s proof-of-vaccination system and remaining capacity limits on Tuesday.

Dr. Moore said that the actual case numbers in Ontario are likely 10 times the reported figure based on the fact of limited testing. 2200 new cases were announced today.

In terms of a return to PCR testing for the general public the Chief Medical Officer says the current system is working.
