The province is continuing to invest to support local agri-food businesses with the Agri-Tech Innovation Initiative.

MPP Rick Byers says Grey-Bruce-Owen Sound agri-buisnesses are getting a share of the funding to the tune of $426,178.

The funding is aimed towards enhancing operational efficiencies and productivity.

Among the projects includes Blanhaven Farms receiving $100,000 for their Robot Dairy Facility project, $49,284 for Pennma Farms for the Innovative On Farm Processing of Soybeans into Protein for Robot Feeding and $100,000 for Exceldor Foods for the New in Ontario ICUT360 Implementation to Bosot Automation and Production.

Approved projects are to be completed by the end of 2027.
