Province invests additional $5 million in Student & First Nation Nutrition Program

It provides more than 600,000 students and youth healthy meals and snacks throughout the year to ensure they are well nourished and ready to learn.

The Ontario Government recently announced an additional investment of $5 million dollars this year in the Student Nutrition Program and First Nation Student Nutrition Program.

It provides more than 600,000 students and youth healthy meals and snacks throughout the year to ensure they are well nourished and ready to learn.

The investment brings the total provincial funding this year to $38 million dollars.

As part of the investment the government announced the launch of the Healthy Students Brighter Ontario Campaign, the first provide-wide fundraising partnership with the Breakfast Club of Canada, the Grocery Foundation, Student Nutrition Ontario and more.
