Ontario announced further tightening health restrictions across the Province at a Press Conference this afternoon.

New types of businesses are now required to limit capacity in their businesses to 50%. These include restaurants, bars, retailers, shopping malls, fitness facilities and those that offer personal care such as salons.

Those exempt from the restrictions include wedding ceremonies (not the entire event), funerals or religious services for now.

Social gatherings have been capped at 10 people indoors and when outdoors at 25. This is a reduction from 25 indoor and 100 outdoor previously.

Bars, restaurants, meeting and event spaces and strip clubs will need to stop serving alcohol at 10 and close by 11.

The number of people allowed to sit together at a table at a restaurant is capped at 10. They must now remain seated at all times.
