Ontario Premier Ford spoke earlier this morning with an update regarding restrictions held across the province.

Starting February 17th, some restrictions will be lifted to allow for larger indoor and outdoor activities and some venues.

Sporting events, concert venues and movie theaters will remain at 50 per cent capacity.

Ford says plans are also in place to have full capacity and removal of proof of vaccination come March.

“Effective March 1st, we intend to eliminate capacity limits at all indoor settings. At the same time and at recommendations from Dr. Moore we will remove proof of vaccination requirements in all settings.” said Ford

Ford adds the reasoning for these adjustments to quicker return marks the progress the province has made against the pandemic.

There is no set date in place to remove masking.
