Grey Bruce Public Health is looking to identify the owner of a dog in a biting incident on Saturday in South Bruce Peninsula.

Between 3-4pm a man was bitten by a brown, medium sized dog at the Sauble Lodge Motor Inn.

The dog is described as around two years of age with curly fur and weighing about 20-30 pounds. The man had been trying to catch the dog after it broke free from its leash.

The dog was with a family of four when the incident occurred. Public health is looking to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies.
