Huron-Perth Public Health has revised a change made last week on its COVID-19 vaccine program heading into 2024.
As of January 1st public health will only be providing COVID-19 vaccines for children aged 11 and under, making the change after last week saying the age cutoff would be 12 years old.
In a release public health says anyone who has reached their 12th birthday will not be eligible to attend a public health COVID-19 vaccine clinic.
Those aged 12 and older will still be able to receive vaccines from a pharmacist or primary care provider.
