Quebec Driver Charged in Kincardine

With the help of a caller, South Bruce OPP have charged a Quebec driver with impaired operation.

On January 23rd just before 1:30pm, OPP received a report of a suspected impaired driving operating a commercial vehicle in Kincardine.

Officers found the vehicle and while speaking with the driver determined they were impaired.

During investigation it was also found the driver was involved in other matters.

As a result a 27 year old from Quebec was charged with impaired driving, possession of a controlled substance, mischief under $5000 and two counts of possession of a forged document.

The accused was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing.
